The AIPMT 2012 is an entrance examination for candidates aspiring to get into the medical field. This exam is a mandatory one if a candidate desires to acquire degrees like MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).

Getting a good score in this particular examination is crucial for every medicine aspirant as all medical colleges in India base their admissions on the rank obtained in AIPMT 2012 examination.
To be eligible for AIPMT 2012 examination you must have cleared the 12th Standard Board Examination from any certified school.
The lower limit for appearing for the examination is 17 years of age and the upper limit is 26 years of age.
Year AIPMT is supposed to be held in the first week of April. The reservations are as follows: 15% of seats reserved for SC Category Candidates, 7.5 reserved for ST Candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC Candidates in central institutions and 3% reserved for Physically handicapped Candidates in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS Courses.

AIPMT 2012 Application Form
The application form for AIPMT Examination 2012 can be easily obtained via both online as well as offline means.

The fee structure for the application form is as follows:
- For general candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-
- For Sc/St Candidates the fee is Rs. 350/-
- For OBC Candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-
To pay for the application form, you can either use your bank atm cum debit card, credit cards. You can even pay by sending a DD of the required fee amount to the SECRETARY, CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, DELHI payable at New Delhi.
If you cannot apply for AIPMT 2012 online due to non-availability of a credit card or what-so-ever the reason be, you can always go for applying via hard copy applications.
You can get access to offline applications from the certified Information Bulletin.
For an offline application the charges are as follows:
- For general candidates the fee is Rs. 800/-
- For Sc/St Candidates the fee is Rs. 450/-
- For OBC Candidates the fee is Rs. 800/-
You can even request an application form to be delivered to you, all you need to do is send a written request to the Board with a DD attached of the required amount. The charges for requesting an application are as follows:
- For general candidates the fee is Rs. 850/-
- For Sc/St Candidates the fee is Rs. 500/-
- For OBC Candidates the fee is Rs. 850/-
